A relaxing experience in the Karst of Trieste
Dren means cornel in English and it’s a local plant, widespread in the area. The name was chosen because cornel represents the strong bond between the territory and the Škerk family, which has lived in Prepotto for generations, trying to keep traditions alive. Until a few years ago, the Škerk family used to run an osmizza, a tavern of Austro-Hungarian origin where home-made products such as wine and cold cuts were sold.

Our Home
Home Dren, bright and finely furnished, consists of four double rooms, four full bathrooms, a large loft with relaxation area, a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a ground floor relaxation room with sofa, armchairs and TV. The house also includes a laundry room with washing machine and dryer and a lovely Karst garden with table and chairs. The ground floor, where there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and relaxation room, is wheelchair accessible. Home Dren accommodates groups of up to 12 people who wish to spend a holiday in nature and relaxation.
